Qazvin the fifth producer of Ornamental fish in Iran
The province Qazvin is the fifth province of Iran in the production of ornamental fish with a production rate of 6 million fish.
(IANA) – “There are currently more than 29 centers for propagation and growth of ornamental fish in the province which have important role in employment opportunities,” said the Manager of Fishery of Qazvin.
“The construction of these units aimed at supplying domestic demands and exporting them abroad,” added Yousef Jelokhani.
“Exports of ornamental fish will have high incomes for our country because of their high prices,” he continued.
“In the current year three licenses of approvals, three construction licenses as well as one utilization license have been issued in the province for production and propagation of fish,” added Jelokhani.
“We have to appropriately use the province’s capacities so the province’s production and economics will be improved remarkably,” stated the Manager of Fishery of Qazvin.
“The province Qazvin has showed its capacity and ability during recent years in producing the ornamental fish, however, if there are more investments, there will be more successes in the future,” he said.\
